Nottinghamshire Deaf Cricket update

November 11, 2017

It's has been a long time since I've written a report so here's an update on what's happening.

Last night 10/11/17 the Nottinghamshire Deaf Cricket Club attended a Presentation Evening organised by the SNVL which was well attended by cricket clubs from around Nottinghamshire.

The awards were presented by Luke Fletcher who plays for Nottinghamshire and I'm pleased to say that we came away with some individual awards as well as finishing runners up in Division M.

Congratulations to Richard Wolfe on winning the wicketkeeping award for Division M and also to Oliver Wilcox for winning the batting award with 502 runs in Division M.

I would also like to say that Richard Johnson and Jordan Slater just missed out on the bowling award which would have been a clean sweep for NDCC.

NDCC will have their own Presentation Evening on Saturday 18 November, 8pm onwards which promises to be a great evening.

Indoor cricket nets will start January 2018 and we're awaiting confirmation of venue. Exciting times ahead as we've some young players wanting to join which is only good for the future of the club.

Roll on next season and we're looking forward to playing in Division L.
