England Deaf player Jimmy Dixon took a Lancashire Deaf team to Birmingham in October to play some new to Deaf cricket players in Birmingham.
In the 15 overs match, Lancashire scored 100 all out. Young England Deaf hope, Nathan Secombe, scored 44 and Dixon himself 35.
In reply, BID batted really positively reaching 101-3 in 12 overs. Dixon took 2 wickets and Chris Harrison the other.
A fantastic afternoon of cricket and great to see another group of new young Deaf players in the middle of the country.
We hope to see the BID Services team taking part in ECAD events in the near future.
