James Dixon and Joel Harris had been selected for England Cricket Board’s Deaf Elite Squad in Deaf International Cricket Council (DICC)’s Deaf World Series with Pakistan, India and South Africa in Dubai.
James Dixon’s man of the match performance against Pakistan in robin round match 2 with his 10-2-22-4.
James Dixon played in the Deaf World Series Final at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, and lost in the final against Pakistan by 3 wickets in close encounter game. Joel Harris was the 12th man in the final.
Saturday 19th March:
Lancashire Cricket Board’s Deaf Team won the ECAD Indoor cricket tournament in Derby and take the ‘Umesh Vajlee’ trophy home as our first time ever to win the trophy as unbeaten champions after beat Surrey, ECAD South and ECAD North in robin round matches and also beat Surrey in the Final.

Nathan Secombe (15 years old) – been selected for England Cricket Board’s Deaf Lions every games during 2016 season , and he is the player member to won the U18s league and cup as unbeaten champions and also as a playing member for his 3rd team to won the 3rd XI’s West Lancashire Cricket League’s Divison 2 league champions and West Lancashire Cricket League Cup with his club, Atherton Cricket Club.
