Nottingham win the inaugural ECAD Deaf Club 6s

Nottingham won the first ECAD Deaf Club 6 a side tournament at Welbeck Colliery CC in Mansfield, beating Croydon in the final.


Manchester made up the three teams who ended up playing 7 a side matches due to the number of available players.

 

Manchester 104-6 (12 overs) James Dixon 33* lost to Croydon 106-3 (11.2 overs) Nitesh Chavda 31* by 4 wickets.

 

Nottingham 125-5 (12 overs), Oliver Wilcox 27, Geoff Cooper 3-8 beat Croydon 105-4 (12 overs) Nisal Karunaratne 27*, Nitesh Chavda 30* by 20 runs.

 

Manchester 71 all out (10.2 overs) lost to Nottingham 72-0 (7.2 overs) Liam Savage 30*, Ravi Hundal 31* by 7 wickets.

 

FINAL
Croydon 121-2 (12 overs) Mike O'Mahony 31* lost to Nottingham 122-1 (9.3 overs) Oliver Wilcox 30*, Liam Savage 31* by 6 wickets.
